Human Design Maven, LLC

Terms and Conditions

Effective date: May 1, 2026

Welcome. Human Design Maven, LLC ("HDM," "we," "us," or "our") welcomes you.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. Your access and use of this Site, and your purchase of any HDM product or service, is subject to the legally binding terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement, which you accept and agree to by accessing this Site or by purchasing, enrolling in, or otherwise using any HDM product or service.

The material appearing on the Site and within HDM products and services is provided as information about Human Design Maven, LLC offerings, transmissions, courses, immersions, cohorts, retreats, salons, events, reports, readings, sessions, digital downloads, memberships, and related materials, and as a platform for online connection and community. The owner of this Site, Human Design Maven, LLC, and its directors, agents, employees, contractors, and affiliates assume no responsibility or liability for any consequences resulting directly or indirectly from any action or inaction you take based on the information found on, or material linked to from, this Site or any HDM product or service.

Any information made available by or on this Site or within any HDM product or service is provided for educational, informational, reflective, or contemplative purposes only, and is not to be relied upon as professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other licensed-professional advice. By using this Site or any HDM product or service, you accept and agree that following any information, framework, transmission, or recommendation provided therein is at your own risk.

These terms and conditions form a binding agreement ("Agreement") between you and Human Design Maven, LLC, a limited liability company organized in the State of California with a principal place of business in Huntington Beach, California. Human Design Maven, LLC may modify, amend, supplement, or replace these terms and conditions at any time without advance notice. Your continued use of this Site, or your continued access to any HDM product or service, after any change means you have accepted the changed terms and conditions.

1. Scope of This Agreement

This Agreement governs your use of the HDM website and your purchase of, enrollment in, access to, or use of any product or service offered by Human Design Maven, LLC, including without limitation:

  • Live and recorded courses, programs, immersions, cohorts, and group containers;
  • Individual readings, consultations, and sessions;
  • Salons, gatherings, retreats, in-person and virtual events;
  • Digital reports, written transmissions, and downloadable materials;
  • Memberships, subscriptions, and ongoing community containers;
  • Books, written works, and licensed written content;
  • Any other product, service, or offering made available by HDM, whether currently active, retired, or introduced in the future, and whether sold under the HDM name or under any sub-brand, product line, or program name operated by HDM (collectively, the "HDM Offerings").

Where a particular HDM Offering is sold with its own product-specific terms (for example, terms presented at checkout, in a sales page, or in a separate enrollment agreement), those product-specific terms apply in addition to this Agreement. Where there is a conflict, the product-specific terms control for that Offering only; this Agreement controls for all other matters.

2. Copyright

United States copyright laws protect all materials created by Human Design Maven, LLC on the Site and within all HDM Offerings as original works. All such materials belong to Human Design Maven, LLC, including those without a registered copyright symbol. This includes, without limitation, written content, frameworks, methodologies, transmissions, audio recordings, video recordings, charts, diagrams, illustrations, slide decks, workbooks, prompts, scripts, and any derivative works created by HDM.

3. Links to Third-Party Websites

The Site and HDM Offerings may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services. Any linked sites, materials, and pages are not under the control of Human Design Maven, LLC. HDM is not responsible for the content contained in any linked website, nor for any losses or damages you may incur due to your use of any such website. HDM accepts no liability for any errors or omissions contained in third-party websites. We provide these links to enable you to connect with HDM across various platforms and to facilitate the most accessible delivery of our services.

4. Intellectual Property Ownership and License

Where HDM provides materials that you can download, view, stream, or otherwise access, a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license is granted for you to access those materials for your personal, non-commercial, internal use only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may NOT:

  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the materials;
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, broadcast, or republish the materials in any form or medium;
  • Use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
  • Share, transfer, resell, sublicense, or "mirror" the materials to or for another person or on any other server, platform, or device;
  • Use the materials, in whole or in part, to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or otherwise develop any artificial intelligence model, large language model, or machine-learning system;
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice contained in the materials.

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by HDM at any time. Upon termination of your access to the materials or upon termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded or printed copies of the materials in your possession.

If HDM discovers that you have illegally misappropriated, copied, redistributed, or otherwise used any intellectual property to which you were granted access in violation of this Agreement, you will be permanently blocked from any future HDM Offerings, and HDM will pursue all legal remedies available, including injunctive relief, statutory and actual damages, and recovery of all attorneys' fees and costs incurred in enforcing these rights.

5. Testimonials

We share student wins, breakthroughs, and reflections from inside our courses, immersions, community containers, readings, sessions, and other HDM Offerings. By enrolling in any HDM Offering, or by purchasing any HDM product or service, you grant Human Design Maven, LLC permission to use any testimonials, results, statements, words of praise, public posts, comments, or messages you provide to HDM in our marketing materials and promotional efforts. This includes, without limitation, unofficial testimonials, words of praise via Instagram stories, public posts and comments on any social platform, posts inside private community spaces operated by HDM, written reviews, and direct messages to Dylan Varenhorst or HDM team members.

We will blur or omit full names on any screenshots used in marketing where doing so is reasonable, and you understand that all confidentiality provisions of this Agreement apply, with testimonials being the sole exception to our confidentiality obligations. You may withdraw consent for the use of a specific identifiable testimonial by emailing the contact address listed in Section 22, and HDM will discontinue prospective use of that specific testimonial within a reasonable time, though HDM is not obligated to recall materials already published or distributed.

6. Refund Policy

We want you to be 100% satisfied with any HDM Offering, and we also expect students and clients to give the Offering a fair and good-faith effort, including applying the methods, frameworks, and practices we provide. To request a refund, you must contact our support team at the email address listed in Section 22 within fourteen (14) days of your enrollment, purchase, or first access (whichever is earliest) to qualify for refund consideration.

HDM follows a "Do The Work" Refund Policy. This means that to be considered for a refund, you must include ALL required, completed coursework or deliverables with your refund request, as further described in Section 6.2. If you submit a refund request without all required coursework, or if you submit your request outside the 14-day window, your request will not be accepted. All refund decisions are made at the sole and final discretion of Human Design Maven, LLC.

6.1 Situations Where Refunds Are Not Granted

By way of example and without limitation, HDM does not grant refunds in the following circumstances:

  • A student or client who has not put in good-faith effort, has not engaged with the Offering, has not taken responsibility for their own participation, and then requests a refund;
  • Any attempt to use the refund policy as a means to opt out of an existing financial obligation or payment plan already committed to upon enrollment;
  • A change in business direction, professional focus, or stated goals after purchase;
  • Inability or unwillingness to complete the Offering due to a change in personal circumstances, including but not limited to scheduling, life events, health, relationships, or finances;
  • Disagreement with, or dissatisfaction with, the worldview, frameworks, lineage, methodology, transmissions, or perspectives presented in the Offering, where such worldview and methodology are accurately represented on the relevant sales page;
  • Buyer's remorse, including any decision that the Offering is not what the purchaser hoped or expected, where the sales page accurately described what was being offered;
  • Failure to attend live calls, sessions, or events;
  • Failure to download or access materials within any access window.

6.2 Situations Where a Refund May Be Granted

By way of example, HDM may grant a refund where a student has completed the relevant Offering or its required pre-work and first module, has demonstrably applied the methods in good faith, has shared with us what they learned, and has provided an objectively fair reason for requesting a refund. To be considered, the refund request must include all of the following, as applicable to the Offering:

  • Documented proof that all pre-work and first-module handbooks, workbooks, or assignments have been completed;
  • A progress record of all pre-work and first-module video lessons watched within the member portal or learning platform;
  • Attendance of at least one coaching call, group call, or live session, where such calls are part of the Offering;
  • Screenshots or other evidence demonstrating good-faith effort to ask questions and seek support when experiencing challenges during the Offering;
  • A written statement of the objectively fair reason for the refund request.

6.3 Disclaimer Regarding Digital and Live Offerings

Due to the digital, transmission-based, and time-sensitive nature of HDM Offerings, HDM does not offer refunds for purchasers who do not perform their own due diligence to ensure that an Offering is the right fit for them prior to purchase. It is the customer's responsibility to carefully review the relevant sales page, this Agreement, and any product-specific terms before purchasing, accessing, or using any HDM Offering. HDM does not offer partial refunds. HDM does not offer refunds for downloadable digital products, written reports, prerecorded reading deliverables, or single-session offerings once delivery has occurred. HDM does not offer refunds for in-person retreats, salons, gatherings, or events once a non-refundable deposit has been paid or the published cancellation deadline has passed; specific cancellation terms for in-person events are stated on the relevant sales or registration page and control over the general policy in this Section 6 for that event.

7. Blocklist and Disputed Payments

Human Design Maven, LLC retains the right to block and remove you from any or all HDM Offerings, materials, courses, communities, products, or services in the event that you (i) fail to pay any outstanding balance, (ii) initiate a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal in connection with any HDM Offering, or (iii) misappropriate, copy, distribute, or otherwise misuse any HDM intellectual property in violation of Section 4.

A student or client may be removed from the blocklist at the sole discretion of HDM, conditioned upon (1) full payment of all outstanding balances, processor fees, late fees, and collection costs, and (2) acknowledgment that the student will not be eligible for any refund for the remainder of access to the Offering.

7.1 Reinstatement After Disputed Payments

If a student wishes to regain access to any HDM Offering after disputing one or more payments, the student agrees to pay (a) the full disputed amount, (b) any payment-processor fee assessed against HDM for each disputed payment, and (c) any reasonable administrative fee charged by HDM for reinstatement.

7.2 Payment Plans

HDM offers payment options at the time of purchase, allowing you to pay in full or in monthly installments. If you elect a payment plan, you are responsible for paying every remaining installment unless and until you obtain a refund through the Do The Work Refund Policy. By enrolling in a payment plan, you agree to pay the entire balance owed under that plan. You may pay off your remaining balance in full at any time; however, to be eligible for any pay-in-full discount or pay-in-full bonus, you must email us within thirty (30) days of enrolling. If a scheduled payment fails, HDM may temporarily suspend access until payment is brought current. After three (3) consecutive failed payments, HDM may refer the outstanding balance to a third-party collection agency. HDM is not responsible for any foreign transaction fees, currency conversion fees, or bank fees charged by your financial institution.

7.3 Broken Payment Plans and Late Fees

If your agreed-upon payment plan is broken, HDM will permit a three (3) month grace period, during which our team will work in good faith to bring payments back on track. After three (3) months of delinquent payments, HDM will charge a late fee equal to ten percent (10%) of the monthly payment due for each month of missed payments thereafter, for up to one (1) year. The 10% late fee commences only after the initial three-month grace period.

Example: If you have paid the first three months but pause your payment plan in the fourth month and fail to bring payments current within the three-month grace period, you will owe a 10% late fee for each subsequent month (up to one year) that the account remains delinquent. You must pay all past-due payments and accrued late fees in full before access to the Offering can be reinstated.

7.4 Bringing an Account Current

To bring your account current after three (3) or more months of delinquent payments, you must pay all past-due installments and accrued late fees in full. Access will be reinstated only once the entire account balance has been paid.

8. Access to HDM Offerings

Access terms for each HDM Offering are stated on the relevant sales page or in the product-specific terms for that Offering. Access generally activates upon successful enrollment and payment, or upon delivery of the Offering, whichever applies. Where an Offering is described as having "unlimited," "lifetime," or "extended" access, such access is contingent upon HDM's continued operation of the Offering, the underlying hosting platform or community space, and your continued compliance with this Agreement. HDM reserves the right to migrate, retire, or discontinue any Offering or hosting platform with reasonable notice.

9. Updates and Bonuses

HDM actively updates Offerings to address common student needs and to refine our methodology. Enrolled students are granted access to updates within the core curriculum of their Offering during their access window. Enrollment in an Offering does not automatically grant free access to future bonuses, beyond those promised at the time of enrollment. Bonuses are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. If you enroll in an Offering within thirty (30) days of a new bonus being added for new students, HDM will, at its discretion, grant you access to that new bonus at no additional cost.

10. Participant Conduct and Confidentiality

By participating in any HDM Offering, you agree to engage respectfully with HDM, its team, its facilitators, and other participants. HDM may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to any Offering, without refund, for conduct that includes but is not limited to: harassment, abuse, threats, discrimination, doxxing, sharing other participants' personal information without consent, recording or redistributing private group sessions, or otherwise materially disrupting the container.

All content shared by other participants in private group containers is confidential. You agree not to share, screenshot, repost, or otherwise disclose another participant's personal stories, charts, or contributions outside the container without their explicit written consent. The sole exception is the testimonial permission granted to HDM in Section 5.

11. Not Medical, Psychological, Legal, or Financial Advice

HDM Offerings provide educational, reflective, contemplative, and self-inquiry frameworks rooted in Human Design, astrology, the I Ching, the Gene Keys, astrocartography, and related modalities. Nothing in any HDM Offering is intended as, and nothing in any HDM Offering constitutes, medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, tax, or financial advice. HDM is not a licensed medical, mental-health, legal, tax, or financial professional. You agree to consult appropriately licensed professionals for any decisions that fall within those domains, and you acknowledge that any decisions you make in those domains are made by you alone.

12. No Guarantees

HDM makes NO GUARANTEES regarding any results, outcomes, transformation, financial gain, business success, relational success, or personal change that you may or may not experience from the Site, any HDM Offering, or any free content. We will do our part to support you, and we make no guarantees regarding any results, given that we can only contribute to (and never control) your participation, integration, or outcomes. You understand that HDM makes no guarantees whatsoever regarding any results, financial or otherwise, based on any action or inaction relating to your life, social media accounts, businesses, relationships, or health. Even if you have worked with HDM previously and obtained certain results, HDM makes no guarantee that any prior results will recur.

13. Privacy

HDM collects only the personal information necessary to provide the Offerings, process payments, communicate with you, and operate our platform. HDM does not sell your personal information. Specific details regarding the collection, use, and protection of personal information are set forth in our Privacy Policy, available on the Site, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.

14. Electronic Communications and Consent

By providing your email address, mobile number, or other contact information to HDM, you consent to receive electronic communications from HDM relating to your account, your purchases, and HDM Offerings. Marketing communications may be opted out of at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism in the relevant message. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that HDM provides electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

15. Force Majeure

HDM shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this Agreement where such failure or delay results from any cause beyond HDM's reasonable control, including without limitation acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, public-health emergencies, government action, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, internet or platform outages, hosting-provider failures, third-party service-provider failures, power outages, or any other event of force majeure. In the event of an extended force-majeure interruption, HDM may, at its discretion, reschedule, restructure, or migrate the affected Offering, and any such adjustment shall not constitute grounds for refund.

16. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with any product-specific terms, the Privacy Policy, and any other legal notices or policies of Human Design Maven, LLC linked to this Agreement or contained on this Site, constitutes the entire agreement between you and HDM relating to your use of the Site and any HDM Offering, and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, claims, representations, or communications (whether oral or written) between the parties regarding such subject matter. This Agreement may not be amended or modified except by HDM.

17. Modifications to the Agreement

HDM may revise this Agreement at any time without prior notice. The "Effective date" at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision. By continuing to use the Site or any HDM Offering after a revision is posted, you agree to be bound by the revised Agreement.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Human Design Maven, LLC, or its directors, officers, members, employees, contractors, agents, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages of any kind, including without limitation damages for loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, business interruption, emotional distress, or personal injury, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use or access, the Site, any HDM Offering, or any materials or content provided by HDM, even if HDM has been advised orally or in writing of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HDM's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this Agreement, the Site, or any HDM Offering, regardless of the form of action or theory of liability, shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to HDM for the specific Offering giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

19. Indemnity

As a condition of your use of the Site and any HDM Offering, you hereby agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Human Design Maven, LLC and its directors, officers, members, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs), and damages arising out of or relating to (i) your use of the Site or any HDM Offering, (ii) your breach of this Agreement, (iii) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (iv) any content or material you provide to HDM.

20. Governing Law, Venue, and Dispute Resolution

Any claim, dispute, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement, the Site, or any HDM Offering shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. The exclusive venue for any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and the parties hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. The parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through informal negotiation prior to commencing formal proceedings.

21. Severability, Waiver, and Assignment

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The failure of HDM to enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. You may not assign or transfer this Agreement, by operation of law or otherwise, without HDM's prior written consent. HDM may assign this Agreement at any time without notice.
